Harrassment

Business & Finance

I had an outstanding debt with goodys family clothing which i had a settlement with an shows paid in full for which i have receipts for an these people called me an i told them i had settled that debt an he said i had to fax it to him right now or it would go against my credit against me an i told him i was in hospital an could not send him a copy of my pay off an he said he would just send it to credit as debt unpaid, i tried to call the numbers on this letter they sent me, when i got home an i never got an answer only ringing an then it hung up i tried calling 3 or 4 times same thing every time, i have a friend who works in collections so i asked her if she knew anything about it, she said to check it out it may be a scam, an that is when i found this site they have not contacted me since an i am going to check my credit report to see if they have illegally reported against me if so i will be taking them to court.
