BANKS are getting more and more CROOKED

I am a working man who was paid $50 for a small job by a customer so I went to the bank the check was issued from to cash it because I needed some cash to buy lunch. The bank was Seslock on Los Osos Valley road in San Luis Obispo California a credit union. I signed the check in front of the teller and handed her my ID {CA drivers Lic} She says that it will cost me $3 to cash this check. I said " you will not even honor your own customers checks without charging me a fee?" She said " That's right, all the big banks are doing that now."??? She then proceeded to break out a little ink pad and said I would also have to give my thumb print.??? The American banking system has robbed the public of billions and now they want to treat us as the criminals.??? When is the American public going to stand up to these corporate criminals? To say the least I will never except another check from this bank and I will have the customer return my $3. My dignity is something they can not return.
