Help center, forclosure predators! Took us for $1000.00 promissing to work with our bank to modify our loan. Now their phone number is no longer in service, and we were left even broker than when we started

My fiance and i were going into forclosure and this company said that they would work with the bank to modify our loan. Now that they recieved the $1000.00 to appraise our home and do the legal paperwork, their phone number is no longer in service and we have no way of contacting them to get our money back. Predators!!!
