Very tricky and liers

I have a debt with american Express for $2.000.00 Nationwide contact me and we settle for $600.00 gave them a check by phone for the amount of $600.00, well they call back saying it had no funds. I check with the bank (knowing I had enough funds) and for my surprise they tried to charge $800.00, very very nice. Well we renegotiated and we settle for $800.00 to get ridd of them and the thousands of calls a week. Well after I payed almost $600.00 now i recieved a letter with the new amount owed by me know. $1.695.90 do the know how to count or they use this moddus opperandus to rip people off. Well know i can, t reach anyone by phone and they have direct withdraw from my account but I will stop payment on them and at these bad times of economy this is not what we need to get back on our feet. Bye the way they never send me the settlement letter for the amount we have settle.
