Morgan and Associates
Threatened me with "Federal" crimes and jail time

This company called me and left a voicemail from "Dominac Jones" from Morgan and Associates stating that they had a very serious legal matter they needed to discuss with me. Usually I ignore these phone calls but I called this one back to see what the issue was because I knew I didn't have any and at the end of my voicemail he said "May God bless you" Now, I cannot ever think of a time when a "Real" collection agency would or had ever said that. When the call was answered the guy stated his name as "Leo Fernandiz" and said that I owed money from a payday laon from 2005. He read a "legal" statement and "1968 Federal law" about check fraud and deception. He had a very strong Indain accent. When he was finished with his "legal statement" which I was asked not to interrupt him, he stated my name, address, ssn and place of employement. I told him he had the wrong information and that my ssn was wrong. He said they needed the correct one-yeah cause I fell off the turnip truck yesterday.

I told him I needed the date of the transaction, the account number in which the "funds" were deposited, the address and place of employment that was on record for me for that date and transaction. He said he could not give me that information. I said well, considering this is about me then I should be prevy to that information. He said "only to your attorney can I discuss" I said well, the information that you have and the ssn you have is incorrect and this was a bunch of crap" He said "you will pay" and hung up the phone. When I called back again I asked for Dominac Jones" he said that was him, I preceeded to tell him this whole story and then all of a sudden out of nowhere "Leo Fernandiz" was on the phone! Go figure. Then trying to play both people the accents kept changing and he kept getting confused. It was actually funny. I told him that I wanted to speak to someone in the United States and fluent in English. He said that there was nobody there like that that could help me and I started laughing which apparently made the "law firm people" angry Leo/Dominac yelled "Do not ever call us again!" Yea, they are real people? Please, I don't think so
