Ripoff! Fraud lies runaround late fees

I've been battling with this company for several years, they *lose payments* to charge late fees, refuse to acknowledge mail sent to them etc etc, I served in the military & left my wife in charge of my financial affairs for a while, Providian refused to accept payments from her because she was not the account holder, she mailed them 3 power of attorneys (POA), the last 2 certified mail and they refused to acknowledge they were sent and kept refusing to take payments from her... Each month 10 days past the payment date however they were happy to call & accept payments from her after adding on late fees & the over the limit fees the late fees caused.

I've had so much trouble with this company that out of frustration I started a consumer action group trying to get enough people together to prove a case against them for fraud.

The kicker was when after months of non-returned phone calls, denied agreements and *supervisors* that never seem to be around twice I got a call from another girl I can't recall ever speaking too who says to me "You tell me that every time I call... I take it you have no intention of paying your bills? *

Firstly I've never spoken to this girl before and secondly I informed her that I would start honoring my agreements when an actual agreement can be established and upheld on their part.
