Gave conterfit hundred dollar bills

8/27 husband cashed his payroll check at this market where they cash hundreds of payroll checks for people every week. He was given at least 12 hundred dollar bills, and on tuesday went to go pay the water bill and told the bill was conterfit. Turns out at least 6 that we know of were conterfit. Went back to family market and clerk admitted to cashing his check, he said those were not his bills. Would not even concider looking into the problem, we are now out 600.00 bucks, and well you know how fast our police are to investigate real crimes in our city. Police took the remainder of the money from us, but its been 2 days now and still no contact from any detective even willing to look into the matter, and tomorrow they will be back cashing checks again.
