Scam: they will pre-approve you and forget about you! Your will lose over $2k

K & M is a very deceiving law firm. They pre-approve their clients for loan modifications. Although they do not guarantee results, they claim they would not pre-approve their clients if they did not fully expect results. They charge their clients retainers of over two thousand dollars and then essentially do not provide any services of value. The same paperwork that their clients send on their own to the banks is re-sent by K & M under the "guise" that they will be able to get different results. As the clients are denied, K & M brings up excuses of "lost in mail", "change in laws", and then stops contacting the clients.
As other complaintants all over the internet have stated, the lawyers pass the clients off to multiple assistants until the clients are frustrated enough to stop calling.
I am sure some clients have been helped, but many are decieved into this quick money making scam.
Do not think you can be helped if you have not been able to get help on your own from your bank. K & M will steal your money.
I fairly asked for 50% of the fees back; and have been denied. I felt ripped off from the second I sent the money in.
