On nov 5 we entered into a contract with platinum acceptance corp. We spoke with a robert gleason who said he was a lawyer and his company was involed with the obama program. He said that he would be able to do a loan modification for us. We were charged 1,200 total installments of 400.00 upon completion of the loan. The remaining 400.00 would be paid. We paid a total of 800.00. When they took out the 2nd 400.00 they tryed to get the other 400.00 dollars. But my husband made them put it back because it was to be the last 400.00 to be paid at the completion of the modification. They got our 800.00 dollars tryed to take the remaining 400.00 but we stop them. They did nothing for us they lost every piece of paper work we faxed to them. Said they never got our fax or any paper work we mailed them. This has gone on for 7 months now. And nothing got done. We was told by robert gleason not to paid our mortgage or have anything to do with our mortgage company. Also only talk to them not to talk to any one else. Well because of that company my house is now in forecloser. I have a lawyer now to help with the forecloser. But i want our 800.00 dollars back from platinum. They have a f rateing under the bbb. Dont go by the on line business bbb thats where there e-mail to us told us to go and it said there oked them. But the real bbb has a f under them.
