Blackhawk State Bank Blackhawk Bank & Trust will not protect your assets

A local collection agency froze $4,100.00 dollars in my checking account through the court for payment.in the meantime, I came up with $4,100.00 dollars and paid off the collection agency. The collection agency contacted the bank to "un-froze" the $4,100.00 dollars in my account, but istead of doing that, the bank sent an additional $4,100.00 check to the collection agency. So, the collection agency, which did not notify me, had $8,200.00 of my money! This was due to the incompetence of the Bookkeeping Department of Blackhawk Bank and Trust. This release of funds didn't even show up on my monthy statement! Had I not surmised what had happened, and called the collection agency (H&R Accounts), more than likely they would have kept their $4,100.00 dollar windfall. Blackhawk Bank & Trust is behind times and incompetent in the manner in whch they handle money and protect a customer's assets. They don't! If you live in the Illinois/Iowa Quad-Cities, I urge you to AVOID BLACKHAWK BANK & TRUST! For you monies sake. They are managed by moron's!!!
