Holding my husbands check - checking account

My husband and I have banked with BOA for 15 years. Last May one of other accounts were compromised and checks were missing. To protect ourselves we closed the BOA as well. October 13th after being established with new account for 6 months they pulled my husbands check and were not going to release funds until the 15th after 5pm. After being talked down to by customer service went into the bank, the manager talked talked to me like I was a child and a nobody. She finally released my husbands check and made sure she was doing me a favor. What? No thank you for being a good and reliable customer for 15 years. Then about my IRA check she told me, " I should be more prepared". She did not know how long I had been trying to get my money and how hard it is to get a "Medallion Seal" to get money wired to my account. Banks get all this bail out money and then after they have to repay they are going to "Stick it to us". Bank managers have the ability to lift the hold especially since she released my husbands check hold. They did not prove to me they want my business, just because I am going through hard times, but will be back on my feet again and Rivermark will be getting my money from now on.
