Bottom feeder collection agency

I received a letter in the mail recently from the County Courthouse. It was a letter of a default judgment obtained against me from Capital Alliance Financial LLC. It was from a old debt that has been charged off from a credit card company. With all of the interest, late charges, etc., the total is $16,000 and change. I called the clerk from the Courthouse, and she pulled the file. It states in the file that I was issued a Summons/Warrant to appear in Court. I NEVER received any Summons, Warrant, etc. From this bottom feeder collection agency.in fact, the letter doesn't even list the collection agency's address, phone number, etc. OR the attorney who supposedly prosecuted this case. I'm in the process of filing bankruptcy, and I know for a fact that all of these creditors have been notified, including these horrible collection agencies. I immediately called my attorney about this situation. These collection agencies are ruthless and relentless, and will go through any means neccessary to collect this supposed debt. I'm furious, to say the least. I'm currently unemployed, so this surprise really pissed me off. Unbelievable!!!
