Macy Credit Card
Didn't notify me of a problem with my posted payment until AFTER my payment due date, and wouldn't waive the late fee!

I have near perfect credit score and it's all ruined b/c of Macy's! For some reason they wouldn't accept payment over the phone and I had to register for an online account (hassle anyone?) and then enter the numbers on my check according to the image example they provided. Well, the image example was wrong so I ended up entering the wrong numbers. I didn't know that something was wrong with my posted payment until I received mail from Macys the night that my payment was due! If I had signed up for an online account, couldn't they at least send me an email? Cheap deception at its best. Well after I had posted my payment again the very next day, I asked them to waive my late fee. Well lo and behold they would only waive half of it. Wtf. Why can't you just waive all of it if it's your problem. The answer: authorization issues. Bottom line: don't sign up a card with Macys. The money they try to scam you with is more than you save.
