Ripoff fraudulent billing continues collection even after letter of apology cancelling fraudulent debt Wilmington Delaware

I was a victim of fraud. Fleet sends promotional credit card checks out in the mail, in my case to an address I have never lived at, someone signed my name and it was cashed for $3,500.

They apologized after receiving police report and affidavits. Now almost to the day one year later, they have given it to a collection agency, so now having to redo all I did last year to get resolved. I have reported them to the FTC on the FTC website. They are bad to deal with.
