Misleading... Big time rip off

I responded to an online ad and in their website it said there is a trial period of 3 days. Just pay $2.97 for the started kit to be mailed. If you like the program you will be billed $149.99 for set up of your website and billed $49 monthly for maintenance. There was a question during the sign up if I wanted to set-up my website now. I answered no... Because I wanted to wait for the starter kit first and see if I wanted the so called program they were offering.

To my surprise there were already charges on my account... $2.97 and $149.99. When I called them to ask why I was charged, I was told it was for the set-up of my website... Which of course was non-existent because I wanted to read the starter kit they said will be mailed, before going any further.

The person I was speaking with even hang up on me while I was asking a lot of questions. This people must be making a lot of money by misleading statements in their website.

I hope something can be done to punish these people from making easy money by dishonest means.
