EMC Mortgage
Nothing but problems since they took over loan

We have had nothing but problems since EMC took over our loan from UC Lending. When they took over our loan, we were 5 months behind in payments because my husband lost his job. Someone from EMC called to discuss this and we were told that we were 22 months behind not 5. My husband argued with them and got no where. Had to file bankruptcy because they started foreclosure proceedings and foreclosure was stopped.

They still insist we are about 22 months behind even though we aren't. I think they have been taking our current mortgage payments and applying them to the arrearages on our mortgage instead of applying them to the current months mortgage payment and that is why they keep saying we are all these months behind. The arrearages on the mortgage are paid to a bankruptcy trustee. We were supposed to have a hearing in court over this matter but it never happened.

It just seems that they can do what they want and no one cares. They need to be investigated because what they are to people is wrong. Payments are not being credited correctly and it takes them 3-4 weeks just to cash our payments to them. It's just ridiculous to have to keep dealing with them. We are hoping to find someone to give us a loan so we don't have to deal with them anymore.
