Do not try and cash a check - non-customer service

Tried to cash a check written to me for services I provide a customer and they would not cash it with my Drivers Lic and my State ID, ever other bank in the United States does but them. And they sayw I have to have a gun permit or a passport to cash the check and was told by the clerk that they have just been auditted and need to follow the rules of their bank which is a international bank, well from now on all my customers will be told if you bank with HSBC forget it, I will keep my business with US companies
