Southwest Service Life Insurance Company has a vast array of ways to weasel out of their obligations. From excluding items to limiting payment on others. They charge a surgical deduction for a wound closer (sutures). I had actual surgery performed. It was a one day procedure. My bill from the hospital came to $9,760.31. Southwest Service Life Insurance paid $1500.00 less the $300.00 surgical deductible for a total of 8.13%. The associated doctor, testing, and anesthiology expenses fared somewhat better. If I had the money I've paid in premiums I could have paid these bills off already without elevating my blood pressure as much.
