Borrowers Protection Program Disabled Veteren Does not qualify for Borrowers Protection Program?

Business & Finance

I was involuntarly discharged from the Navy on Feb26 for a disabaling medical condition which occured while i was on Active duty Military service. I received a small amount of disability pay and was sent on my way.
I purchased a home in november and signed up for the borrowers protection program. I was told that this program covers involuntary unemployment, disability and death.
When i got discharged i contacted bank of america and told them About my involuntary unemployment due to a disability. At first i was told i did not qualify at all because there was a 90 day waiting window that i had not met by one day. They said i purchased my home on the 27th of November so on the 26th of Febuary it had only been 89 days. At that point i brought to there attention the fact that i purchased my home on the 20th of november and have the borrowers protection agreement infront of me showing that i sighned it on the 20th. They somehow found the same to be true and initated my claim and sent me out paperwork to fill out.
Once i received this paper work i immediatly filled it out and faxed it in. About a week later i received a letter saying that i missed something and to send everything in again. I and spoke to a supervisor and was told that my DD214 (seperation Paperwork) was not legibale, But they did see the fact that i was discharged for disability, they just needed to verify my time in service. So i again filled everything out made clear copies of everything and mailed it in this time via certified mail.
One week later i received a letter saying that my benifit request has been denied because my seperation out of the military was for a disability and that does not qualify for involuntary unemployment. I called and was told that i need to file it for disability and then was told that it would be denied as well because i am currently able to work and do not qualify for that either.
Over the last 2 weeks i have been calling and asking to speak to a supervisor and being told that i have to leave a message and a supervisor will call me back within 24-72 hours. It has been two weeks now and i have requested a supervisor call back 3 times and have not received one. The representatives are very rude and keep telling me that the decision has been made and that i am wasting my time and that it will never be reversed.
I feel like they have been looking for any excuse to deny my claim since the first time i called in. I do not think that it should matter what reason you get involuntarilly unemployed. I feel like i should qualify for both the unemployment and the disability and because of a loop hole that Bank of America has created i dont qualify for either. I beleive that they are doing everything in their power to get me to just stop trying.
