Dishonest Collection agency

Collection Agency placed the debt into collections 4 months before the doctors office billed my insurance company. After I informed them of this they agreed to remove it if I paid them $200 more than the doctors office billed my insurance company. I refused. Also they are not registered or bonded with North Carolina which is where I lived when this happened. That is a Felony First degree with a fine of $50,000. I have been told by consumer affairs that they have several hundred complaints against them.
