Creditors Service Bureau
Cox, Wells & Associates Beware Creditors Service Bureau / Cox, Wells & Associates

Business & Finance

Creditors Service Bureau/Cox, Wells & Associates was contracted in late August to collect a moderate five-figure amount on a past-due account.

After six months, we were informed via fax that the collection had been settled in full for 33% of the amount due stating that the account's "funds have proved to be very slim." However, a simple internet search reveals that the account was awarded a seven-figure government contract in January!!! Was there ever an attempt to collect or was the intent just to settle and move on? It should also be noted that numerous attempts to speak with Creditors Service Bureau were made during the six-month collection period, yet our calls all went unreturned.

After receiving the fax, the agent in charge did take our call only to scream for us to "Never call this office again." The lack of indepth investigation, professionalism and communication was extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory.

Should you receive a solicitation from Creditors Service Bureau, politely decline their offer.
