Loan Modification

I requested a loan modification in September. Long before my mortgage went up to the amount that we can not afford. The information they requested was faxed to them. I called after faxing the papers to make sure that they had what was required and requested of me. I did recieve a letter saying that they were working on the loan modification. Ater that letter there were no further communications at all. I tried to check the status and ask that a rep from the modification department call me back. But I was told they do not make out going calls. Than in January I recieved a letter saying that my loan modification has been denied because we did not live on the property. I called andx informed them that we have stayed on this property for over forty years. The rep asked that I fax a letter stating that wwe did in fact live on the property and sign it. And the modification would be resummitted. The next letter that I recieved stated that we had more income than we did. This I don't understand when we faxed them a copy of all income we recieved. Now. The modification has been resummitted for a third time. I feel that something is not right with the way my reaquest is being handled, too many mistakes are being made and no help is being given to us at all. Where do I go for help with my problem?
