US Home Owners Relief Ripped Off for 3,000.00 after promises were made... Which were not fulfilled

I went through this company to get some help with my home. I was leery to give them 3000.00 dollars but to get any action they had to have the money up front. After much thought and checking the company out I decided to take a chance... Big mistake. I was working with Chris Campbell and then my file was turned over to Dru Ruggeri to be the case manager. I talked with Dru at great lengths about my fears of being ripped off because I had already lost 6000.00 in a similar situation. He e-mailed me and talked with me via phone and reassured me that his company was not like that and they had such great success rate and I would be happy with the results that they would be able to get for me. So In October the process started and they contacted me a few times and told me they were really positive about the results. Well in November I heard from them once and nothing in December. I thought maybe the holidays were slowing things down. So after the holidays I called and got a recording saying that they were no longer in business and that we would have to contact our lender ourselves. I was devastated. The recording had no one to contact, no instructions on how to get our money back or anything else. Just the recording blaming the government for having to go out of business and you're on your own. It took a lot for us to gather the 3000.00 and poof it is gone. It is such a violation. Now our house is being foreclosed on. I have frantically tried to contact anyone and everyone but they all say it is too late. We have no where to go and no money to put down on even a rental... Providing we could get a rental. I think if they continued to take money from customers and continued to advertise on television then somewhere, somehow we should be able to get our funds that we trusted them with. But as I read all the others who have been duped I find that highly unlikely. The owners of the corporation are probably sitting in their expensive homes and laughing all the way. It is so wrong and I would love to be in a class action suit and take everything they own to recover the funds they stole from all of us who trusted them.
