Stole $850 from my checking account

I started a mail order business and hired Merchantone to proccess the credit card orders. After two months, I realized this business venture was not working.

I contacted Merchantone to cancel the services. They informed me that there would be a small fee, because of the effort they took to set up the account. That seemed reasonable to me, so I signed the cancelation form. When my bank statement came, I got the shock of a lifetime.

WITHOUT CONTACTING ME, they charged my bank account $850 (eight hundred fifty). They have refused to answer all E-mails and when I called, I was put on hold and nobody answered.

This company has to be the most unethical and dishonest company operating in the credit card proccessing business. Don't get trapped into doing any business with them; and I'm not the first to report them. My final word about Merchantone, BEWARE!
