Merchantone Ripoff - $99 Annual Fee
Anauthorized Charges $99 annual fee $50 anauthorized debit charge after cancellation of merchant acct

We setup a merchant account with Merchantone From Mid October thru December. I talked to sales manager (Scott G) and told him that we are opening up a Kiosk in mall, for 3 to 4 months. So he said we could open up a month to month merchant account, no setup fees, no application fee and no annual fee and no cancellation fee.
So he them emailed me a contract and i looked and read there is a cancellation fee, i calle dback and asked, he said, i can just strike it off and write down" No cancellation fee". So we did.

Dec -29th, i sent an email that we are closing the store on Dec 31st. Then i see a charge of $99 debited on our acct. Called in and asked what was the charge. They said it was a annual fee, but since we are not annual customers, they said tehy would credit it in 48 hours. Guess what, they did not credit. Here is the trick they say 48 hours so we cannot dispute it after that. So if you call after 3 or 4 days, they'll say we cannot refund. And we cannot dispute it from the bank.

And then again a charge of $50 on 01/14, unauthorized debited from our accounts. I called in immediately again.

I have no where to go but to RIPOFF. Please DO NOT do business with these guys.
