Fraudulent and abusive collection practices

Don't pay this company a nickel. They have a long and inglorious history of abusive and violative debt collection practices (simply do a google search and you will find all you need to know).

My case is similar to everyone else's - car was sold long ago, new owner failed to transfer registration, car was towed and sold at auction for storage fees.in my case, the "debt" is long past the statute of limitations in my state, yet they are pursuing collection by multiple daily calls (this is kind of wierd because I've NEVER heard from these people until I called THEM asking why there was a collection notice posted on my credit report).

Anyway, I've documention of at least 52 violations of FDCPA and FCRA that they've committed. At $1,000 per violation, that works out to a lot of money. I am pursuing them in court and I encourage everyone else who is similarly affected to do so as well.

When all is said and done, if I am successful, I will post all documentation related to the matter for all to read and use if they can.
