I had a manufacturing company that required the purchase of some large equipment. I used Leaf Funding, Inc. DBA Leaf Financial, Inc. As the lender. The equipment cost about $38,000.00 /-. I paid on this equipment for some time. When the construction industry dropped off, I was forced to close my business. Myself and my partner both signed personal guarantee's for this equipment. The balance at the time of closure was approximately $28,000.00. (nothing out of the ordinary so far)

Well, we negotiated to give the equipment back, mind you it was practically new, still in near mint condition. The equipment was picked up. Then we both get hit with a law suit for breach of contract from Leaf Funding. Our negotiated phone conversations were prior to the law suit were as follows:

They would pick up the equipment, auction it off to the highest bidder, subtract that from the 28K still owing, and my partner and I would split the difference of the balance. All agreed between the three of us.

Instead what happened is Leaf worked out a deal with my partner to drop him from the suit. He paid them $8,500.00. That left a round-about balance of 19-20K. Remember, they have the equipment. Well, they then continue the suit with me for 28K plus attorney fees and court costs. They have a judgment against me, I am filing a personal BK now.

And I had the same issues that other people had. That they never received my faxes, my letters, certain phone calls never existed, so forth and so on...

They are lairs and in my opinion thieves.
