Lied about debt collection

I had no knowledge of this debt. When I called atty Hecker, was told it was a debt from 06, which is incorrect. My husband had died when I stopped making the payments, so we negotiated an $11,500 settlement in "full and final settlement".

He promised he would advise the 3 credit companies he would send them letter also. When I received the letter, it has in the "regarding" area, that there is AMOUNT DUE:
$11,036.03 WHICH IS A LIE. The letter says that they "now consider the account settled in full".

THEN at the bottom of the letter, they have in BOLD, "this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose".

He has totally scuttled my attempt to get a mortgage. My father died last month and I am trying to consolidate everything into one payment.

Atty Hecker has apparently INTENTIONALLY made my credit WORSE!!!

I want him censured and suspended from practice.
