The initial report is true. Thomas Pontani posts ads looking for a house sitter. He asks for a personal reference and for you to go to a website to get a free credit report. He insists you don't send him the report, only your scores - for your own protection. If you read the fine print, there is a fee charged from the credit company. Beware!
