Ripoff mistreated and ripped off

My husband and I wanted to consolidate a few credit cards that had been hanging around for a while that we just wanted to pay off. We were not behind in paying them and we have good credit we just wanted to make one easy payment and get rid of the cards for good. I thought this was a good idea. I called and left a message and was immediately contacted by "David Smith". He was going to help me get out of debt. All he needed was a little information.

I gave him a small amount of information and within 2 or 3 minutes he comes back with an amount that I would have to pay per month. This was a feasable amount to me, so we set it up. He said he needed the first month payment immediately to get things started so I gave him my debit card no.

Days went by and I heard nothing I tried and tried to contact him and could not reach anything but a voice mail.in the meantime I found this site and stopped everything with this company; I faxed a letter to the company letting "David" know that I had closed all my accounts and that I would not be doing business with this co. Immediately he called me after a week of no contact. I explained that I didn't want to do business with this co. And I wanted my first months payment back since we were not going to be doing business with them and I was told this payment could not be refunded. Please do not do business with these people they will not be there when you need them.
