AHMSI is a predatory lender who bought our loan from Option One. They will not work with us on finances or taxes and will not accept partial payments or any other form of correcting our account.
One cannot get a full name if speaking with someone, or a direct number or extension. Most calls go to India, and one has to request a phone transfer to the USA to Texas, as they have many offices scattered around the country.
When speaking to someone, their answer is not the same as the person one spoke with earlier, nor is it the same as the answer gotten when speaking to someone after. Nothing makes sense, and they are basically lying since not one "story" is the same as another.
We have made every attempt to show our intent to pay, yet they will not accept what we offer. We had to get a friend in the mortgage/title/escrow business to speak for us, and ultimately have had to secure the services of Dr. Robert Elliott with the Home Safe Program, which battles these unscruplous lenders. We have seen multiple reports of class action suits being filed for these reasons, especially partial payments put into escrow that "disappear"!
