Conversion of personal loan to a credit card account

Personal loan in good standing with Shank of America. Never any late payments always paid early.
Personal loan account converted to a gold credit card account without notification or permission.
Now that personal loan is a credit card account, fixed rate has been replaced with a variable rate. New minimum balance payment is almost triple the amount of previous minimum balance payments.
The letter notifying me of the new terms did not have an address or phone number for me to make an inquiry. I looked up phone number on Shank of America website but phone number had been disconnected.
I went into a branch and they could not help me. They gave me the same disconnected phone number. I expalined to phone number didn't work so they called and received the same disconnect notice. I was then given another phone number where I was placed on hold for 10 minutes. No one ever answered my query.
