Credit Solutions ripoff Saint George

When I was contacted by Clear Choice, they represented themselves as an affiliate of my personal bank. They had my routing number along with my account number. I was very concerned about how they obtained this information, but felt that they had been associated with my bank when they immediately asked if I had applied for a credit card with my current bank.

Like many others I agreed to their terms as they had "Guaranteed" me a Visa/MC with at least a $5000 credit limit. They said that the card would not come in my packet but that all I had to do was to take the application to my current bank and that they would issue me a credit card.

I told them that there was no way I could afford the $239.95 they were asking, so they immediately said that I qualified for a $20 per month installment. They never once... I repeat... NEVER ONCE said they would draft this money from my account. I specifically asked them if there would be a draft on my personal checking account and they said no. That I would be sent statements and then I would pay the $20 per month to them.

I just went to balance my account from my bank statement and found that this * company debited $239.95 from my bank account. How is this possible without my authorization to remove funds. And how is this legal when I only agreed to even pay them $20 per month anyway. I never said I would pay more than that and they said no interest on the $20 payments, that they would be in 12 total installments and this was a one time fee.

I am furious! For more than one reason. One, I never authorized such a transaction. Two, they took it all after I only agreed to $20 per month payments. But most of all... And this is the kicker... This company still has not sent me anything! I have yet to receive so much as a postcard from them.

This makes twice I have been burned by a so-called non-profit company that wants to "Help" me. Premier was the first company to rip me off for $100 and now this. I know what you are thinking, why did I do it again? Well I thought this company was hired by my bank to assist me with a credit card on their behalf and just didn't want the "rep" of helping out the less credited. How stupid can I be?

Well I am going to attempt to retrieve my money and I am going to the bank tomorrow to open a brand new account and I am closing this one. I am not very comfortable with knowing that my routing number along with my bank account number is out there for any con artist in the world to snatch away my few dollars that I worked hard for.

I have two children that will now have to do without necessities because some two-bit company decided that I was a prime target. Well no more... And for all of you damn companies out there that want to call me for this kind of garbage or for any other such nonsense... Don't bother... Stick a fork in me... Because i am done!!!
