All I ever get is a letter from them threatening foreclosure and no forms to fill out. They say they will send them to me but after 5 months still nothing

Due to unforseen financial circumstances beginning in October or November of we have fallen behind on our mortgage payment with EverHome Mortgage. Before this we were with GMAC Mortgage which was just as bad. We had to replace a washer, water heater, make over $800 in repairs on the car that already had over 180,000 miles on it and then in May I was terminated from a job that I had had for almost 10 years. Then about 6 weeks ago we wound up replacing the car we had fixed last winter. Because of EverHome, we had to go to a buy-here-pay-here place to do this.

Evidently they had an inspector come out to the house last fall, and told our insurance company that we needed to paint our house and restain the deck so they should drop our coverage. They then tacked a policy to our mortgage that cost over $2000 a year. How convenient, you can't paint a house in the winter.

Our household income had dropped in half and with winter upon us our heating bills will be through the roof. My husband is doing the best he can, working overtime when offered, but come October that will come to a very small trickle.

All we want to do is stay in our home. EverHome is making it very difficult for us to do this, and like others, waiting for the day that the sheriff or whoever does it, say we have to get out because we are foreclosed on. Right now I am working on getting the paperwork together to send to them (yes I am making copies for me). They told me it could be 60 to 90 days before we would hear anything. I plan to call at least once a week after I am sure that the documents have gotten there, to keep bugging them just like they do me.

I had one week that I got 5 calls a day from them threatening me. That is pure harassment.

I am so frustrated with them that I am trying to find somewhere that I can get this refinanced into a fixed rate. The payments on this loan started at $400 a month and now are almost double that with all of the charges they add for whatever they feel like and GMAC was no better.
