Business & Finance

About a month ago, in May I did a free credit report online and when I checked my credit card I had been charged $79.95. I read on this website that someone called and mentioned a lawsuit so I did the same thing.

I called and said that I wanted the service cancelled (if you do not cancel the "free" trial within a month, it rolls over) and she said that I would not be able to get the money back. I said that I was aware of a lawsuit against the company and would like to talk to someone higher than her about getting the money refunded. She sort of cut me off and said that I would receive an email confirmation of the cancellation of service and that I would also receive a refund within 7-10 business days.
