Refused to take my money! Elizabethton

I'am writing to see if a company can legally refuse to take my money. I have been being ripped off by Titlemax in Johnson City since April. So Today, I wanted to pay some extra on my car.

I went into the store, and was told that even though my payment wasn't due until September 5th, I couldn't pay money towards my principle. Then told me all I could do was make a minimum payment of $200.00 plus dollars and $70.00 would go to the principle. I wanted to pay $200.00 on it towards my principle since my next payment isn't due for two weeks. This was refused with me being told I could make an early payment of the $200.00 plus dollars and $70.00 will go towards the principle. I told them that was bull$h! T. The guy told me if I was going to get loud, I could leave so I did.

I did not know that if you wanted to make a payment on something in Tennessee, you could be forbidden to do so. I have contacted an attorney and I'am waiting for his return call now.
