Epoch.com nailed me in the bank, Florida

In a period of 2 days, occurring 3 days ago, this company called Epoch hit my bank account for a total of $86.58 over 4 charges. I had but a 40 cents in my bank account when these charges went through and I have obtained 4 overdraft charges totaling $136 even. All that adds up to a total $222.42 of me being overdrawn due to this.

Now I've seen many complaints from this company on this site and I'm just trying to get to the bottom of how did they exactly get ACCESS to MY bank account. I have had this issue in the past, but I just closed my bank account and started a new one. This is NOT right. Any suggestions on what I should do?
