America Fair Credit Association - AFCA
Has been taking $5.00 a month out of my savings account since the mid 90's

I came across a complaint from another person here in Denver that AFCA was doing the same thing to her that it had done to me. At the time, I was a struggling single mother and was looking to try to get a credit card. I met with someone (I can't remember his name now) but not only did I not get credit, but he talked me into enrolling with AFCA to "get myself out of debt and into financial recovery" or something to that effect.

I ended up paying $30.00 a year for the first year and $5.00 per month since that time. As with the other person who filed a complaint, I have had no luck getting anyone from AFCA to contact me about it nor can I get my credit union to stop the money from being taken out every month. I would not have a problem paying for this if I actually knew what it was I was paying for. The $5.00 is just vanishing into thin air! Considering I have been doing this since the mid-90's, this has added up to some considerable cash as well that is just disappearing into a black hole. Can anyone out there help me get this monthly fee stopped?
