Statute of Limitations has run out in Texas

It was a charge card from my spouse from 7 years back when he was let go and we couldn't spend the statement. The statement has quadrupled in the things they claim we owe them today because the unique cost standard. They're rude, and certainly will not I would like to talk once they call my house. I've attempted to inform them that my spouse has gone out of the country and we're divided and that I can't-get a breakup since he's from the nation. They maintain harassing me and my title was never about the card or did I actually cost something with this charge card. Used to donot actually understand he'd this charge card during our relationship.

So what can I really do to prevent this harassment. When I stated it had been 7 years back he defaulted with this card. Cheers for almost any aid anybody can provide me.
