Ripoff the business that doesnt give a dam

Until a few days ago I also worked for this company.in less than two years I became a Territory Director. This was only after I had been actually doing the duties of one for close to 4 months (without the pay) and I threatened to quit.

I have seen alot of bad agents, unpaid claims (including some of my own), misrepresentation of both policies and opportunities by upper management, and many other wrong doings by this company and it's employees.

As an agent I took off time for maternity leave. This was after transferring from one state to another. Not only did the company neglect to report the change (which means they did not take out appropriate taxes), but they paid only 20% of my disability pay.

I questioned this and was told that they only had to pay 55% of my previous year's earnings. They used a company to determine this amount. The company then issued Combined a check which they proceeded to take another 30% out for my "flush account". I was left with not even $500 a month and not in any condition to work. I am looking into taking them to court.

They have also taken money from my pay because a policy holder bounced a check and I was the one to renew the policies and because an agent under me quit and owed them money. I have paid both the outstanding debt and the amount of the check which was written. I don't see how they can continue to take money from employees for things of this nature. I for one am tired of 7am conference calls, nightly calls for numbers, getting 2 day notices that you have to be out of town for a week, being told to make someone work who quit a month ago, Saturday check-ins, Sunday call-ins, and I could go on for hours.

This company would keep employees and policy holders if they were made to stop being slave driving jerks who don't care about anything exept the almighty dollar in their own pockets.
