Loan modification / ripped off

I have been in touch with my mortgage company (formally countrywide now Bank of America) since January 09 trying to get my mortgage either modified or some other reduction. I faxed many documents I don't know how many times, it was approved finailly for interest rate reduction (joke) & to put all my back owed payments onto my exsisting loan. My payments were to start on June 1st which I made on May 29th by phone. I got a confermation # and all info that I needed (it is all documentated) Then I called on the 16th of July to make my July payment & they refused my payment over the phone. I was not making the payment on the 1st, as they still had my acct. All screwed up. The only reason I was making my payment on the 16th is so I would not get a late charge to my acct. My acct. Is all screwed up & now I dont know what else to do but contact a lawyer to sue these IDIOTS. I have all the documentation to support their incompatance & lies.
