Suing me for an advance i did not receive internet

I received a phone call from ACS today, this is a consulting company that advancecash.com is using to inform me they are going to sue me. Why are they suing me? According to them I received a cash advance in August for $300.00 that I never paid back. The problem is I never received a cash advance from them.

I have proof (my August bank statement) that shows I never received a cash advance from them. But, without evene contacting me that there was a problem, almost a year later they want to sue me for $300.00. Never mind in the past year they have made no attempts to contact me other then sending me spam message that said "Need money? Apply for a cash advance" or something along those lines that I erased without reading because I was not interested.

Then when I call them to try to resolve the matter, I am told I only have 2 options, either pay the money back or they will file papers in court. They do not want to resolve these issues, they wanted to scare me into paying them money I do not owe them. I refuse to pay them for a loan I did not get.

I am a single mother of 2. I work full time. I also live paycheck to paycheck to support my children. I do not have extra money laying around. If I had gotten the advance, I would have paid it off right away.

If you ever need a cash advance or payday loan, there are other reputable companies that I have even used and never had a problem with them. Advancecash.com is just trying to steal my money. Beware of all their subsidiaries, too.
