Robert Aguayo Of Success Star Marketing, Inc. And CuraDebt
Robert Aguayo Of Success Star Marketing - Financial Freedom Heaven - CuraDebt Financial Services Fraud - Misrepresented himself and took my money for service which was never performed

Business & Finance

Mr. Robert Aguayo, of Success Star Marketing, represented himself to me as an agent of CuraDebt Financial Counselling services. He discussed with me the large amount of credit card debt which I had and promised to help me by talking to the credit card companies and getting them to settle for a lesser amount. He led me on to believe that he was making progress on these negotiations.

At the start, after giving me all the detail of how the program worked, he suggested that I draw $10,000 from one credit card to put into a "trust fund", from which he could draw to make negotiations more effective. I complied with his request. He was using this to deal with Chase and one other big one.

After a couple months he told me that they had just talked to the Discover Card people about the 2 small debts I had on 2 Discover cards and they were willing to settle for $450 if I sent it in immediately. So I did send him an additional $450.

Soon, it became almost impossible to get Mr. Aguayo on the phone. He would not answer my calls and would not respond to my messages. Finally, when I did get him in April, he told me that he was having trouble with CuraDebt because they demanded that I let my accounts go into arrears before settling the debts. Therefore, he switched to a better company, ABC Debt Relief, and would now be working with them.

Not long afterward, I decided to call ABC Debt Relief and ask if they were working on my account. They said they were not - and they had never heard of Robert Aguayo. I also called CuraDebt on May 6, and I was told by Mr. Wm Franko, Asst. Mgr., that they had never heard of Robert Aguayo and had never been involved with him in trying to settle my debts. But Mr. Franko told me he had some other complaints similar to mine and his company was meeting with attorneys to consider filing charges against Mr. Aguayo.

Mr Aguayo did call me about 6 wks ago and said he was sorry that his negotiations had fallen through and that he would return the $10,000 to me as well as the $450; but "it would take a few weeks."

Meanwhile I have tried to call Mr. Aguayo and have given him warning that I would like him to settle without taking stronger measures against him; however, he will not answer his cell phone and his home/office phone is now disconnected.

Robert Aguayo is a liar and his operation is a fraudulent scam.
