Rate increase/early payments

Capital One won't maintain my budget both. I'll be spending them off THIS MONTH! Lately I'd to select to STOP my card from use to maintain my rate of interest @ 4.9 but I skipped the cutoff time by oneday. Today I spend 13.9% interest. I had been never overdue and usually compensated significantly more than the minimal amount due. Oh, lately I settled three times within the month of july and was billed a late charge!!?? I named them-and they stated I settled it too soon... Not what I contact first class customer support however the bottom end-of the client being maintained.
