I was "referred" to this company 6 months ago. Something about didn't feel right and, boy, am I glad I did not go with them. It is hard to pin them down as there story always seems to change. But for a constant story, why not just read their report from the BBB

According to BBB files this company has a pattern of complaints. Complaints allege the business promised loans over the phone and then the company doesn't keep their promises. Consumers allegedly also have to pay $329 for a credit analysis.

Complaints also allege a certain percentage rate gets promised or quoted over the phone, then it shows up completely different on paper which then changes the monthly rate on the consumer.

Consumers allege loans will be approved by Direct Capital then they will have a change of heart.

Consumers who are entitled to a refund have to keep requesting to get it. The business will continue to try to sell them something else with high pressure sales. When deals are made, the business will ask for a fee upfront. The fee is paid and the business will keep asking for additional information which is very hard for the consumer to obtain. The business will call the deal off and the consumer is now out of the money they paid to them.

Additional complaints allege consumers ask if there are any hidden fees other then what was already shared with them and they are told no; however, after they send the 2 payments required and get their contract-other fees are found.

The company allegedly contacts the consumer about getting them a line of credit. Once money is exchanged, the business then says they don't do a line of credit but they can produce credit cards. Consumer says no and they continue to try to sell them something else.

Other complaints allege that to go ahead with the loan, a consumer pays between $329-$379 for credit analysis. Then they recommend that the consumer pay $2500-$3500 to have their lawyers fix areas of concern on the consumers credit report.
