Buyers beware, Owners beware, Micahael Collier and Lee Heppenheime

My dealing with National Hospitality Brokers began on approximately 5-19 to buy a hotel property. After a month of searching for a partner I finally succeeded and contacted NHB to begin negotiations. I specifically requested for the owner to be on the phone in order to expedite the negotiations quicker in which Lee Heppenheimer indicated that the owner will be present on is excited about finally selling the property.

On 6-22 at 2pm the call was initiated and to my and my partners surprise there was no owner, however, a senior broker by the name of Michael Collier was on the phone instead and ensured us that he spoke for the owner and will assist in the negotiations. So this would be the first act of trickery from the duo.

The negotiations went underway in which the ensured us they understood how transferring a property into a trust was arranged and that the owner would have no issues with the transaction. Why would the owner be concerned he has a lawyer to review our proposal right?

On 6-25 the proposal was submitted and we were countered.in addition the BROKERS requested the identity of my partner. So they do a google search and find a complaint on this site from someone who never even was a client of my partner and relayed this to the owner in which the negotiations were immediately terminated.

With this said they later responded and indicated now the structure of deal is not suitable for the owner even though WE all know the owners attorney never put his eyes on the proposal.

So now the deal is dead and a month of hard work and due diligence is dead because of this site in which anyone can vent their complaints and others have the opportunity to base their judgments on. So, Lee and Michael welcome to Rippoff Report, because if anyone has been shifty and scrupulous and would be you too for wasting time.
