Trying to rip me off!

Help! I finaly got tired of calling these people, I was diagnosed with cll last Nov. I have been fighting for my very life, I called capital one, whom I owed money to, also others to explain that I needed my intrest or payment lowered as the bills were killing me. Capitol one said they put me on a hardship status, I kept on paying my payments on time and the credit union has confirmed that Capital one had the payments in the bank early, they cashed my checks. The last two months have been a nightmare to my wife and I but I called them and told them I would keep paying them the $50.00 per month, They have responded that they never received my last two payments, (which they have) and have been adding late charges on my principle at the $39.00 a month for the last two months. They then started calling me untill I told them to cease and decist from doing that, and that I had also made a complaint to the ftc about their unlawful tactics and charges. We will now see what happens. I was never treated this way by these guys untill after I closed my account, and I am always early with my payments as I live on a fixed income and pay my payments always on time and early. Please take heed of this posting and don't fall into this trap, I am going to pay this off I hope before my disease gets me, but one can see how heartless these banks are.
