They dragged out refi for 5 months, kept telliing me closing was "very soon" then denied the rate and points I signed fo

IGS started my refi in January and we finally signed in June. We were told continuosuly that there was a backlog and they were working hard to close. I had to keep contacting them as they kept me often in the dark.

After we closed, they refused to honor the 4.35% interest rate and 1.67 points that we signed for and said if we wanted to fund, it would be a 4.85% and 2.25 points. I've just learned that the lock is only good for 10 days—after that, the whole thing starts again.

Of course, they won't refund my $995.00.

I will be filing a complaint with Dept. Of R.E. And hopefully entering a class action suit. I will also be letting KFI what they are doing
