BB&T Bank
Charged me 240.00 worth of overdraft fees when I had a positive balance. Lexington Kentucky

I opened an account with bb&t bank in Lexington ky, I had a positive balance of 444.50 that was electronically deposited. On a friday. I then on Saturday morning went to the bank and made a transaction with a check of 600.00 deposited 400.00 and asked for 200.00 back. I then proceeded to make transactions with my debit card for my daughters 18th birthday all done on Saturday. I balanced my check book to a tee. Wrote every transaction down as I made the purchases. On Monday My check book balance was 159.00 positive. I looked at my account online and noticed I had a negative balance of 56.35 and pending transaction of 245.00 of overdraft fees. Whhhhaaattt?
I called the bank and They told me that Saturday was considered Monday's Banking. Ok. So all my transactions posted on monday including my check that I deposited on Saturday. It was a check drawn on bb&t. To beat that. They did not give me credit for the check I deposited. Huh... They said it would take 24 hours to clear. What? It was a bb&t check. But they gave me cash back when I made the deposit? I was at this point angry. The lady then proceeded to tell me that if I had cashed the check at the bank on Saturday and then turned around and deposited it back as cash my funds would have been made available immediately. Huh? I thought I had to wait 24 hours for the funds to become available... No answer to that one... But was also advised not to do that. I asked why? She said because it was screwing with the system... Huhhhhhhhh? I told her Lady. You screwed with me. You took 240.00 of my money drained my savings what little I had and you are telling me I am screwing with the system. That's it. Attorney time. I have everything on paper. Black & white. I even met with an attorney he said I have a case but it's not worth it to fight unless I get enough people to come forward also... It's all about the money. What about us the people? That's what this world is all about." Money" The Root of all Evil...
Is there an honest attorney out there... Willing to take a stand for the people? If so please come forward.
