Phone calls for my dead fathe

My dad died in 1997 without any outstanding obligations. Our mom died in 2003 with small debt which was rapidly removed.in I started to get telephone calls from Van Ru for my dad — a complete 11 years after his death. After I advised them he was dead, they insisted they required a duplicate of his death certificate. I declined. They named a lot of occasions that I wound up establishing contact-stopping on my house telephone. Last year, they started calling again having a diverse quantity. Plugged this 1, plus they named with still another quantity.

I finally placed on my nice speech and named the final quantity, requesting the spelling of the organization title, may I please discover what it was about, etc. They never recognized themselves like a variety company, I came across this out by going online. They stated they'dnot stop calling OR provide me-any details about the character of the calls till I supplied them using the death certificate.

Iam torn about whether I must do this, since Iam scared they'll subsequently come after me to get a non existent debt.
